Just push a pedestal except the 2 at the center to reveal another puzzle at the next room. You need to complete all 4 first to move the 2 center pedestals. Now for each of the two center pedestals, take the Kilika sphere fom the left recess at the north wall of the second room and insert it into the left pedestal. Go back to the second room and remove the Besaid sphere from the right recess and place it in the right pedestal.
Once completed, a platform will appear at the center as well as a save sphere. Save and go to the next room to face the boss, Spectral Keeper.
Return to this place after you beat Sin on the airship. The goal here is to step on all 7 white square blocks. The puzzle resets with each mistake. Once done, the wall in the first room will open, revealing the final Destruction Sphere. Take it and proceed to the second room. Insert the sphere into the right pedestal to the north and collect the Magistral Rod. Before you fight, give Tidus an armor that protects against Berserk.
Once the battle begins, have Tidus cast Hastega and move your 2 other characters, preferably Auron and Yuna behind the boss. On your succeeding turns, keep Tidus in front of the boss at all times.
This will give your other 2 characters freedom to pummel him from behind in peace. You may use your Aeons here too, but only if they are at Overdrive since Keeper will kill them at once with Glyph Mines. With the strategy above, Keeper will only use Berserk Tail and nothing else as long as Tidus lives, so have Yuna heal him often. It's a good idea to heal, fill up the Overdrive gauges, and save before entering the next boss fight against Yunalesca.
Her first form has HP and should be easy. If you have not run into the Curse status before, this status effect causes your Overdrive meter to stop charging. The most devastating of these ailments is most certainly Confuse. If you have any armor for your party members that have the Confuse Ward or Confuseproof abilities you should equip them now.
If you do not, you can also equip other armor pieces that prevent the other status effects listed above which will help. Sanctuary Keeper has an attack called Photon Wings which is the most difficult aspect of this boss battle. Photon Wings causes approximately 1, damage and inflicts Sleep, Silence, Darkness and Confusion status effects. It will also cast Curaga on itself in the later parts of the fight.
Make sure that you have Lulu cast Bio on Sanctuary Keeper early on in the fight. Have Yuna cast Reflect on Sanctuary Keeper as well so that any Curaga that it casts on itself will be reflected back to your party.
You need to keep a status ailment on Sanctuary Keeper during the fight the poison effect from Bio will do the trick. Use Dispel to remove Reflect off your party members if Sanctuary Keeper casts it on them. Having Yuna cast Protect on your party members can also greatly help and, of course, have Tidus cast Hastega on the party.
There are a few more lines of dialogue once the battle has concluded. Rikku will try to slow the team down as she thinks up a plan to save Yuna while Auron will reminisce about his experience on the pilgrimage with Lord Braska. Follow the pathway around the corner for another cutscene. Yuna will drop a Sphere on the ground as she walks away from the area that Tidus can watch after the group leaves. Continue north once the scene has ended.
Tidus will reach the rest of the team at the bottom of the pathway. Approach them for another cutscene. Games About Support Contact. Enemies in This Area. Dark Flan. Watch for Dark Flans in this area…. Solving the puzzles is one thing, but there are also additional steps you can take to secure extra items in each trial — items relating to obtaining the aeon Anima later in the game. We have the solution of each temple's Cloister of Trials just below, including instructions on how to get the Destruction Sphere and hidden treasure in each one too so you don't miss out on Anima.
Note: If you have already done some of the temples and missed the Destruction Sphere items, you can simply return to that temple and do the trial again. Be warned though, revisiting these areas later in the game means facing some Dark Aeon bosses in some temples. Essentially, you need to time it right to hit the button when the arrow is facing the way you want. If you fail and continue off the edge, you simply restart, so don't worry.
You will find yourself in a room with a Tetris-like solution displayed on the wall. Interacting with the solution wall will briefly show you the location of the shapes on the floor.
